Bangham Heights Baptist Church seeks to make it our goal to provide students in grades 6th – 12th grade an opportunity to worship Jesus Christ and God. We want it to be a place for them to grow in their faith through studying God’s Word and to serve in ways that allow them to put their faith into action. Bangham Heights Student Ministry challenges students in their relationship with Christ and how that it connects at home with their families, school, and in the community. In Romans 8:39, Paul tells the Romans that, ”nor heights nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.“ So our student ministry strives to live our lives as close to God as we can.
We meet at 9:00am in the Youth room which is located in the old building where the sanctuary used to be. We explore God’s Word and explain how it applies in the lives of our students. We answer real life questions about our world and use God’s Word to explain how He intends for us to live instead of how the world says we should live.
Starting at 6:15pm gives students another great opportunity to explore God’s Word through projects, the Bible, videos, and games. Wednesday night offers students a chance to talk about their school, family, and walk with God through prayer. This is a time for students to engage in fellowship, the mission of the church, be encouraged by others, be equipped for their faith and the road ahead of them, and encounter God’s Word through worship and Bible study.
